Our Foundation
The promoters of this proposed venture come from different business houses having operations ranging across the globe. Being Indians by nationality, both the promoters of this venture have proved their mettle in the regions of India, Middle East and the Continent of Africa.

Al-Zahem & Malhotra General Trading and Contracting Company W.L.L., Kuwait
This company has been operating as a distribution concern in Kuwait since 1946. It came in its present form in 1980 after the amendment in Kuwait law required the participation of a Kuwaiti citizen. The group entered into the partnership with the Al-Zahem family.
Over the years, it has evolved into a large, professional organization, handling products of prestigious global companies. A few of the companies represented in their product portfolio are Wella Intercosmetics, Unilever, Coty, Campina, Dabur, GlaxoSmithKline, Nestle, Hero Netherlands, Weetabix, Zetra B.V. and Fromageries Picon.

In 2001, the company built its own warehouse and operations center in Kuwait covering 100,000 square feet of centrally air-conditioned area.
The company specializes in direct distribution and its marketing and distribution strength ranks among the best in Kuwait. The company employs in excess of 235 persons and the annual turnover of the company is in excess of US$ 30 million.

Al Zahem GROUP 4, Kuwait
After the Kuwait invasion in 1991, the promoters of Al-Zahem & Malhotra saw the opportunity for security services in Kuwait and entered into a joint venture with the international chain of Security providers GROUP 4 Securites.
The company specializes in the installation of security systems and guarding services. To its credit, the company has the accounts of the 7 out of the 9 banks in Kuwait and is today a leading player in the field of security services.
In 2001, the company has achieved a turnover of US$3.6 million.

Crowne Plaza Surya, New Delhi, India

United Exports, New Delhi, India
The company has been in operations for the last 19 years and has steadily grown year after year. The company has a Supply Chain Management system linked to a Customer Relationship Management system for better servicing of the international and domestic customers while maintaining a high degree of profitability to the core investor group.
The company has a fully integrated unit employing 380 persons. It also has in-house purchasers of paddy and rice who are supported with a team of laboratory technicians and milling technicians working as a team to offer the highest degree of quality and satisfaction.

The company operates a state of the art SATAKE Rice Milling plant and has recently commissioned a second SATAKE high-speed line. The company is ISO 9002 certified in addition to being certified by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
The company services customers across nineteen countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Kuwait, Mauritius, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.
The annual turnover of the company for the year ended March 2002 is approximately U$ 8.53 million.

Ronex International (L.L.C.), Dubai, UAE
Ronex International was founded in 1992 when the garment industry was flourishing like never before. The company has been servicing the garment industry for the past decade, and its activities include supplying of all kinds of raw materials from trims to fabrics.
The company services customers globally from Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Kenya, Morocco, Mauritius, Bangladesh & India.
Over the years, the company has entered into exclusive buying agreements with leading companies in China, India, Bangladesh & Hong Kong.
Ronex International also represents Plastiform hangers, which is the nominated hanger brand for supplies to Wall Mart, K-mart, Sears and Target Stores to name a few.
In 2001, the company has achieved a turnover of US$7.3 million.

Aryan & Suman International, Abidjan
The company has been operating in the Ivory Coast area since 1996 through an agent under the banner of Khodiyar International. However, due to exchange risk exposure, it was vital to organize an export business out of Abidjan. Therefore, Aryan & Suman International, Abidjan, Cote D’ Ivory was set up in 2001 with the objective of establishing itself as a leading player in the Ivory Coast.
Through its Abidjan center, the company services Mali, Guinea Bissau, Senegal & Congo.
The company has 3 warehouses and supplies Lubricants, Textiles, Milk Powder, Tyres and Air Conditioners. The company also exports Scrap, Cashew nuts, Teakwood, Cocoa from Abidjan to India and Singapore.
The total turnover including exports touches US$ 18 million per annum.
Microlith Limited, Bostwana
Established in 2001, Microlith is located in the Industrial Area of Selebi-Phikwe Botswana
The factory is registered to manufacture goods under AGOA
All roads within the country are tarred and the factory is located within 150km of the nearest airport, and approximately 450km from the capital city, Gaborone and 600km from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Capital investment in the factory, by current shareholders, has positioned Microlith as a high specification manufacturing plant to meet demands of international apparel markets.
During 2003 a joint venture was entered between United Aryan (Epz) Ltd and Microlith whereby UAL would take over the marketing functions and Microlith would concentrate on the manufacturing process.
